Yo! The name is Gabriela, but people call me Gabby.

I'm a Texan girl that is stuck in Florida.

I love music, it's my life. I listen to it just about at all time.

I have a wonderful boyfriend named Richard, he's a professional bad ass.

He's currently deployed overseas, and I miss him dearly.

I'm raising my siblings; Cesar who is 15 and Aracely who is 14.

My friends mean everything in the world to me, and I'd do anything to make them happy.

I'm not the perfect army girlfriend.

the deployment sometimes gets to

me and there are times when nothing

seems to go right when he is gone.

I think abou how wonderful it would be to have

my soldier home all the time.

There are times when he is home I

push him away so it doesn't hurt so bad

when he leaves again. At night I cry

because I can no longer handle

trying to stay strong. There are times

when I feel like walking away from the life

I have built. But when I stop and think about

it, I remember just how much I love my man

and am proud to be an army girlfriend.
